It’s the final piece previewing the upcoming album, but to me, it’s so much more: it’s the story of the bond with my partner, of the journey we’ve shared across nearly 30 years together.
It took me two years to produce. Every time I worked on it, the emotion was just too overwhelming—I had to stop, take a breath, and come back to it only when I was ready to open that drawer again. It blends a trip-hop atmosphere with a deep soul heart, and for the very first time, you’ll hear me sing with a completely new vocal style, stripped of every filter.
What makes this track even more special is the cover art: the artwork was created by my daughter. Having her art safeguard our story makes everything complete.
